"Before You Tie The Knot" - Rev. Angela Chester - The Book Tour

We're very happy to have Rev. Angela Chester stop by on her book tour. We'd like to thank Rev. Chester for taking time to visit with us.

We asked Rev. Angela why she wrote "Before You Tie The Knot". She said, "There are so many books out there for marriage counseling, but not as many as for engaged couples. This book is designed to make the engaged couple think about what their relationship will, could or may be after they get married."

"Before You Tie The Knot" is a pre-marital workbook for the DIY couple. Of course one of the questions you might ask is if someone orders the book, how will they know if their answer is correct?" Rev. Angela told us, "There is no "correct" answer. Each relationship is different. If you think that he will be a better bill payer and he agrees - you've reached the best answer. It's about bringing balance into your relationship."

There’s a place for reflection – why did you do that?, we asked. "It gives you time to reflect on what you have just learned about yourself, and about your fiancee. Some things may really take you off guard - bad or good - and you need time to process that. Learning about the other person could also allow you to answer even more questions that could really help to make your relationship grow."
